DC Pantry... the generosity of the DCLE!
What We Do...
By meeting immediate physical needs of food and household items, the DC Pantry provides people with a connection to a community of support and an on-ramp to a transformational process toward self-sufficiency.
Recent Rebranding:
The HOPE Food Pantry was launched in 1990 by a dozen local churches to provide food, clothing, and shelter to those in need in the Lake Elsinore area.
Over the years, HOPE has been a mainstay of support as well as a place of partnership and service for those with the desire to make a difference.
In 2017, HOPE became a subsidiary of the Dream Center Lake Elsinore in an effort to continue the legacy of this vital ministry in our community.
Looking to the future, we are re-branding HOPE to DC Pantry in
an effort to clarify the connectedness to the Dream Center as we endeavor to deepen & expand the overall impact.
The DC Pantry proudly serves the residents of Lake Elsinore and surrounding communities that lie within the boundaries of the Lake Elsinore Unified School District (LEUSD). LEUSD covers more than 144 square miles and serves K-12 students in the cities of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and Wildomar, and several unincorporated Riverside County communities, including Lakeland Village and Horsethief Canyon.
