Get Involved
There are so many wonderful ways to be a part of this event! We need volunteers to help generally and can place you where you'd be most needed at the event. The day-of volunteer rally is at 9am at City Park.
We need specialized help from barbers & hairstylists who could come out with their tools and give haircuts to children and from artists who could help with face painting.
You can donate backpacks, school supplies and shoes at our DC Pantry:

IMPORTANT: A few notes about backpacks, school supplies, & shoes:
We are looking for both smaller backpacks (16"-17"), larger backpacks (18"-19"), and a wide variety of school supplies in order to meet the needs of all ages!
For NEW shoes for children we are looking for:
Toddler Girls size 8 - Women's size 11
Toddler Boys size 8 - Men's size 13
